    I am running Fedora 9,yet times I would like to switch to windows XP. I tried it with some software but am in search free ware. You made my way.

    I just mentioned the commercial one. I know that vbox is an OPEN SOURCE solution and I have used it and using it too. Have a nice one.

    In Fedora, especially recent versions provides Xen hypervisor. You don’t have to install any additional one for that purpose.

    Ubuntu, Suse and Open Solaris have boot loaders that enable users to use multiple operating systems. I didn’t face any problem with usage of multiple operating systems till now.

      మార్తాండ గారూ, కంప్యూటర్ను స్టార్ట్ చేసాక లిస్టు నుండీ ఒక ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ను ఎంచుకొని దాన్ని వాడటం గూర్చి మీరు మాట్లాడుతున్నారనుకుంటా! కానీ ఏదో ఒక ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్తంను బూట్ చేసాక అందులోనే ఇకొక దానిని వాడటం గూర్చి ఈ టపా వివరిస్తుంది. మీ సందేయం తొలగిపోవాలంటే ఈ బొమ్మ చూడండి. ఈ చిత్రంలో, ఉబుంటూ వాడుతున్నారు, ఒక విండోలో విండోస్ వాడుతున్నారు.

    @Marthanda:

    Here the discussion is is not on multiboot environment. Using hypervisors, you will be able to use multiple operating system at the same time without have to reboot, you can toggle between OS’es using ALT+TAB, just like the way you toggle between different windows on your desktop :-)

    మీరెవరైనా VBox Test చేశారా (on XP ) … Any compatibility or performance issues with windowsXP operating system?
    Any practical suggestions before installing this free one?(VMware works well with XP)

    vbox నేను test చేసాను. i dont fine any comapatability issues with xp. its working nice. its working nice also with vista.
